Metálicas Unión S.A. is a Peruvian company with more than 70 years of experience in the design and manufacture of racks, storage systems, shelving, lockers, industrial equipment and security. They wanted to renew their website to generate greater exposure, get more leads and make customers have an easier way of contacting them.

1. Before
• The information architecture was not optimized, product categories were not defined correctly.
• There was a lack of social proof and trust elements.
• There was too little information about the products.
• Contact information was outdated and there was not a system to generate and track leads.
2. What I did
Optimized information architecture
Defining product categories and creating an SEO-optimized information architecture allowed the website to provide a clear navigation for the users and improve organic traffic by 50%.
Added trust elements and social proof
Elements like client logos, trust indicators or previous projects allowed the website to be more credible and provide more trust to new users.
Created a landing page for each product
This allowed the users to get more information about specific products and also improve the SEO by positioning specific keywords.
Implemented a lead capture system
Using Webflow forms, I was able to set automations and allow the team to be informed to their emails when there is a new lead.
